Some things I have done and am doing.

Visual journalism

I have edited, written and designed visual projects for organizations including The Washington Post, MinnPost and the Institute for Nonprofit News. My work focuses on data visualization, new narratives, and emerging technologies.

Design + branding

I have managed multiple web redesigns and led a brand overhaul for INN in 2015. I also led product design for an open source Wordpress theme called Largo. I've played a key role in managing our election products at the Post.

Writing + editing

I regularly write about leadership, the intersection of journalism+tech, and workplace culture. I work with select clients on editing and writing projects.
